From the Mayor

Thank you for visiting the Town of Eureka!  We love calling this incredible community our home.  From all of us at the Town, we want to invite you to be active in our community.

Our Town Council hosts monthly meetings every second Monday of the Month at the Town Hall starting at 7:00 pm; unless otherwise posted.

Please take a moment to read the Town of Eureka Strategic Plan 6-10-2016.  We are working with our new council members on updating the Strategic Plan and work has begun on a Eureka Capital Improvement Plan for 2018- 2023.  We are excited to be joined by Jackola Engineering and look forward to having a wide range of activities/projects in the works in 2018-2019 to better serve our community.

The Town is currently exploring their own Growth Policy Plan along with Emergency Planning, in partnership with Commissioner Mike Cole and the Lincoln County Planning and EMA offices.

Agendas and minutes of meetings are available at the Town Hall; 11 Dewey Avenue.  Minutes from 2017 are available on this website (follow the “Minutes” tab above).  And we will be adding 2018 as they are available.  Minutes are not approved until the following month, so this website will be a month “behind” in posting.  If you would like a draft copy of minutes you can make arrangements by calling the Town Hall at 406-297-2123.

We will strive to add the agenda prior to each month on this website.  Come back often and join us at our Council meeting… we do love to see the public that we are serving.   And follow us on Facebook.   We share community and Town activities on there and it is a great resource to find out what is happening in Eureka.

Please note, however, that comments on Facebook cannot be responded to by the Council/Mayor.   The best way to communicate with us is through written comments and by participating in our meetings.  To be on the agenda please come in two weeks prior to the meeting (2nd Monday of every month unless on a recognized holiday) and fill out an agenda request form.  Or, you can address the Council during public comments.   Just note, that if your issue is not on the agenda the Council cannot act on it until the next meeting.
