Around Town

Eureka Montana!  Here it Is… A place to Live, Work and Play all year round.

The Town of Eureka cares for Town Public Parks.  The Riverside Park, next to the Town Hall on the South end of Town, provides a place for bicyclists or other tent campers coming through our community to rest.   Riverside Park provides access to the Tobacco River for those who want to swim, float, fish, and kayak.

The second Park is located about 1/2 way through town and that is our Memorial Park.  This park is dedicated to all the men and women who have and continue to serve our great Nation.   Our local VFW Post and Auxiliary Ladies provide wonderful support as does our local garden clubs and Boyscout groups.  Memorial Park is also the home of our excellent Eureka Farmers Market;  every Wednesday from 3:30 to 6:00 pm all summer long!

You will see when you visit (and maybe stay) that Eureka really is about the community with neighbor helping a neighbor.

On the South side of Town is our Historical Village.  This village showcases the history of the Tobacco Valley and is maintained by a group of dedicated volunteers.  The Tobacco Valley Board of History keeps us connected to our past and showcases the rich culture and traditions of our valley.

The Lincoln County Fairgrounds is the home of many different events including the Bull Thing and Lincoln County Fair.  Throughout the year there are always things to see and do.

The Town’s Mainstreet is filled with idyllic shops and restaurants and is home to one of the Oldest Movie Theaters in Montana, the Majestic Theater. The main street is graced with American and Montana Flags that the VFW, InterBel Telephone, and Lincoln Electric work together to place every year.   A  local grocery, Montana Market, continues to connect the downtown to the overall community.

Our Schools continue to showcase how excellent of an education our youth are receiving while shining in extracurricular activities.  Did we mention we won both the State Football Championship (2017 and 2018!) and State Wrestling Championship (2017) …Plus we have State winners in Speech and Debate and Robotics.
